Why switch to gas at home
Gas appliances tend to cost less to run, heat up faster and keep working during load shedding. The trade-off is that they need a compliant installation and a periodic safety inspection, which is where we come in.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Certificate of Compliance?
Yes. In South Africa a Certificate of Compliance is legally required for gas installations. It is also needed for insurance and when you sell your property. We issue one on completion of every job.
Can I convert from electric to gas?
Yes. We convert electric stoves, geysers and heating to LP gas, including the pipework, regulators and cylinder set-up.
Is LP gas safe to use at home?
Yes, when the installation is done by qualified gas fitters to SANS 10087 and inspected regularly. Most incidents come from poor or non-compliant installations.
How often should my installation be inspected?
We recommend an annual safety inspection for domestic installations.
